Our Friends Closet – Community non-profit providing personal hygiene items to students in need

Founded in 2018 by lifelong friends Tina and Wendy, Our Friends Closet began with a single delivery and a shared commitment to making sure no student feels invisible. Today, we serve over 60 schools across St. Tammany, Tangipahoa, Washington, St. Bernard, and Jefferson Parishes, responding to both ongoing needs and urgent requests from school counselors, social workers and staff. Our Friends Closet is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting homeless, low-income, and unaccompanied students across Southeast Louisiana.
